LAHORE: Justice Sheikh Ahmad Farooq of the Lahore High Court (LHC), on Monday, while hearing an application challenging the acting charge given to the retired PU VC Dr Mujahid Kamran, summoned him in court on January 13.
The judge also sought reply from the Punjab higher education department secretary, directing him to explain as to how and why a retired VC was appointed as the acting VC. Dr Mugheesuddin, a candidate for the VC post, had filed the petition challenging Dr Kamran’s appointment
