ISLAMABAD - The staff of the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Poly Clinic and the National Institute of Rehabilitative Medicine observed a complete strike on Tuesday against the privatisation of the government hospitals and the non-implementation of the Basic Pay Scale (BPS) system.
A large number of protesters gathered outside the parliament house and staged a sit-in, chanting slogans in favour of their demands.
