ISLAMABAD: The paramedical staff of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) observed a complete strike on Wednesday against new service structure for doctors.
The strike resulted in closure of the pharmacy and laboratory adding miseries to the visiting patients from far-flung areas.
The non-medical staff has also rejected the new Health Personnel Scale (HPS) and they preferred to remain in the old service structure of basic pay scale (BPS).
