THE reappointment of Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran as Punjab University vice-chancellor has been challenged in the Lahore High Court.
Prof Dr Yousaf Hayat, a contender for the slot, filed a petition which stated that the reappointment of Kamran was not only a violation of the Punjab University Act but also violation of a Supreme Court judgment against reemployment of retired persons.
