EARLIER this month I attended a reception at the Assembly to mark the commencement of Denmark’s Presidency of the EU.
I have had a love of Denmark since I visited as a schoolboy more than 45 years ago with a United Nations scholarship.
I have returned many times since but I always recall the explanation given of why Denmark was so prosperous without, in comparison with Wales at the time, any evident natural resources or heavy industry. Even the farming land was not naturally
