Still lessons to be learnt from flawed Pisa education results, says professor David Egan

A former Welsh Government adviser has argued that Wales must still learn from its poor performance in the world’s biggest education survey – despite criticisms of the survey’s methods.

Professor David Egan said that the worldwide Pisa tables were just one of several measures that showed Wales falling behind other countries, and that despite the flaws in all the assessments the overarching trend could not be ignored.
