The University of Karachi (KU) witnessed an awkward situation when a group of students, who secured top positions in the BS Programme, staged a demonstration in front of guests and faculty members as well as parents during its 22nd Convocation held on December 17 last year. They had the grievance of being deprived of gold medals that they deserved as like the position holders of various other disciplines.
The KU management had taken the stance that since the gold medals were being sponsored
