Secretary Education and Literacy Department Muhammad Siddique Memon presided over the first steering committee meeting with the USAID delegation and approved the criteria for appointment of staff for monitoring and rehabilitation of schools in Sindh.
Under the Sindh Basic Education Programme, ways of improving primary schools were discussed. Memon said that basic education in the province would be organised on modern lines on priority basis.
