Rawalpindi
More than 90% of senior doctors, particularly those in the teaching cadre, do not make themselves available to poor patients at their duty stations, on the premises of public sector hospitals, in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
As a result, poor patients have to visit specialists at their clinics in the evening to get themselves examined privately after paying hefty amounts.
It is almost impossible for a poor patient to get himself or herself examined properly
