PESHAWAR: Alam Khan has been recommended for award of PhD degree after he successfully defended his research thesis in the public defence held at the Institute of Islamic and Arabic Studies, University of Peshawar on Thursday. His topic of research was historic overview of Afghanistan in religious, cultural and literary perspective from BC till 1978. His PhD supervisors were Dr Mushtaq Ahmed of UoP who served as his internal examiner while Prof Dr Sirajul Islam Hanif of Abdul
