Blood bags theft bid thwarted Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS)

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) on Saturday found a suspicious bag near the hospital’s car parking.
According to the police, security guards tried to stop an unidentified teenage boy carrying a suspicious bag outside the institute.
Upon seeing the guards the teenager threw the bag and ran away. The security guards seized the bag and found 202 blood platelet bags in it. The PIMS administration immediately ordered the blood bank to be sealed.
