The Government Mission School located near the Civil Hospital was named after Malala Yousafzai, a young Pakistani girl nominated for the International Children’s Peace Award, on Monday.
The government of Sindh gave a check of Rs0.5 million to her during a ceremony. Sindh Education Minister Pir Mazar Ul Haq also announced a donation of Rs1 million for the school.
The minister also announced that the Sindh Computerised Learning Centre would also be named after Yousafzai. The
