Graffiti on the walls of city buildings are now a common site and locals walk past them without even giving these chalkings a second glance, but the fact remains that these ‘artists’ are defacing public property, be it for political gains or just simple vandalism and the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) is yet to enact any by-law to cope with the menace.
As part of its cleanliness drive, the KMC, on many occasions, imposed Section-144, banning any kind of wall chalking
