Heart patient stuck in paramedics protest dies to Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC)

A FEMALE heart patient died after an ambulance carrying her to Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) was stuck in a four-hour traffic jam on the Jail Road as a result of protest demonstration by the Punjab Paramedical Alliance for their demands on Wednesday.

The ill-fated woman, Samina, suffering from heart attack was taken to Mayo Hospital wherefrom she was being rushed to PIC when the ambulance got caught in a traffic jam on Jail Road. The patient’s health deteriorated and the situation
