KARACHI - During the month of January, the Employees’ Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) disbursed a total amount of Rs 892 million among its beneficiaries.
This was disclosed by EOBI South Director General (Operations) Javed Iqbal on Wednesday.
“During the same month, the EOBI registered 503 new employers, 22,776 employees and approved 1,981 new pension claims, including 1,095 old age, 36 invalidity, 687 survivors and 163 old age grant claims,” he said. “There are now 83,162
