PESHAWAR: The police resorted to baton charge and teargas shelling on the candidates outside the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) provincial headquarters on Sunday.
Hundreds of candidates from various parts of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had come to the Nadra headquarters at Hayatabad for interview against various posts. After a long wait outside the office, the infuriated candidates staged a protest and tried to enter the office premises after accusing the authority officers
