LAHORE: A division bench of the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday declared illegal the re-appointment of Malik Hussain Mubashar as University of Health Sciences (UHS) as vice chancellor (VC).
The bench, comprising Justice Chaudhry Shahid Saeed and Justice Abdul Waheed Khan, directed the Punjab government to reappoint the VC in accordance with the law.
The petitioner, Muhammad Sajid Hussain, had challenged the appointment of Malik Hussain as UHS VC. The petitioner’s counsel, Nasir Mahmood
