The Lahore High Court on Friday dismissed a writ petition seeking permanent ban on Basant after Lahore DCO Ahad Cheema informed the court that permission had been declined to Kite Flying Institution.
On Friday, Iftikhar Mian, counsel for DCO, appeared before the court and told it that government had refused to grant permission for Basant festival.
