Lahore will take the centre-stage at the Punjab Sports Festival when its grand opening ceremony will be staged for the final round at the National Hockey Stadium next week.
According to organisers, around 6,000 men and women athletes, who have excelled at the inter-tehsil, district and division level stages of the festival, will be in Lahore to participate in the opening ceremony, scheduled for Tuesday. Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif will be the chief guest.
