Sale in open market 20,000 tampered Punjab Textbook Board PTB books seized

LAHORE, A large number of textbooks published by Punjab Textbook Board, supposed to be distributed free of cost among underprivileged children studying in public sector schools, have been found to be tempered and sold in the open market.

The CIA civil lines police have recovered some 20,000 PTB textbooks from a godown on Nicholson Road and arrested two brothers Waqas Ali and Babar Ali, sons of Rehmat Ali, who ran their printing business.
