It was a ladies only affair. Perhaps the first time ever, women turned up in such huge numbers in a political rally in the city, and their fervour was no less than the men. Bandanas, dupattas, bangles and dresses, which sported the MQM’s flag, were seen in all around as were women dancing to the tune of Dhols and others screaming “Jeay Altaf”.
