Sarkash Sindhi, Poet of rebellion` passes away

LARKANA, March 5: Sarkash Sindhi, renowned poet known for his revolutionary verses, died here on Monday after protracted illness. He was 72.

He is survived by two daughters and a son.

He was laid to rest in Ali Bahar graveyard near Shaikh Zayed Hospital here on Monday evening. A large number of people from different walks of life — including Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz chairman Basheer Khan Qureshi and writers Taj Joyo and Rashid Morai — attended the funeral.
