The provincial assembly on Monday unanimously passed a bill to set up a Sindh Teachers Education Development Authority for the training and professional development of teachers.
Amendments were also passed to include three MPAs as members of the authority’s board.Senior Education Minister Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq informed the house that there was no accredited institution in the province for the training of teachers.
