CHARSADDA, May 7: Local clerics and seminarians on Monday took out a rally for release of 14 leading Afghan ulema detained in Charsadda district.
Activists of Majlis Tahafooz Ulema-o-Deeni Madaris (MTUDM), which organised the rally, condemned raids on the houses of Afghan ulema and religious seminaries and demanded an immediate halt to them.
The rally passed through various bazaars and ended at Farooq Azam Chowk, where MTUDM president and former MNA Maulana Ghulam Mohammad Sadiq, JUI
