College teachers’ capacity building, training being ignored Directorate of Staff Development (DSD),

OVER the years, the Punjab government has been ignoring a much-needed initiative of organizing capacity building and training programme for college teachers of the province.

 

Though there is a separate entity, Directorate of Staff Development (DSD), for the government schoolteachers, there is no such organization in place which caters to the training needs of the college cadre teachers serving at public colleges across the province.
