Faiz awards presented
KARACHI: Pakistan Institute of Labour Education and Research (PILER) conferred Faiz Ahmed Faiz Labour Awards on the veteran trade union leaders, active trade unionists and activists of civil society
organisations, who struggled for the rights of workers on the occasion of International Labour
Conference to celebrate 30 years of PILER. Eminent human rights activist and senior lawyer of Supreme Court of Pakistan Syed Iqbal Haider was the chief guest at the awards
