The Elementary and Secondary Education (E&SE) Department has apparently bowed down to influential lobby of private schools, as it has failed to take any worthwhile step for establishing a regulatory authority to check irregularities by administrations of such schools, according to officials.
They said that the department had been working on a bill for the last two years to provide for setting up an authority to register and regulate functioning of private schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
