Every 12th person in the world and 10th person in Pakistan is a hepatitis patient.
This was stated by Central President of Pakistan Islamic Medical Association Dr. Misbahul Haq on Saturday as the World Hepatitis Day was marked.
The PIMA president said that hepatitis had emerged as the third major disease in Pakistan with 10.5 million people suffering from it.
