LAHORE, May 11: Postgraduate Medical Institute (PGMI) Principal Prof Dr Tariq Salahuddin has said the concept of modern healthcare system is not possible without the involvement of nurses, a backbone of the medical profession.
Addressing a ceremony organised in the Nursing School at Lahore General Hospital on the eve of the World Nursing Day, he said the importance of nurses increased manifold during the widespread dengue epidemic last year.
