LAHORE, May 26: The Punjab University Academic Staff Association has welcomed Punjab government’s decision of deploying police on the varsity campuses for teachers’ security.
In a joint news statement, PUASA president Amer Sarwar and secretary Javed Sami have said those close to “goonda
elements” were opposing government’s measures to protect teachers.
