LAHORE – The Punjab Health Department has directed heads of medical institutions and public hospitals and all Health EDOs to adopt measures to control epidemics of waterborne diseases, especially gastroenteritis.
A control room has also been set up at the Directorate General Health. A spokesperson for the Health Department said that the control room would collect reports daily from teaching hospitals and other sources and forward them to the higher authorities.
