Eight-year-old Nimra Hayat has not yet attended her first day at school, despite her school term having started on April 1. Her school is just one of the many that are at present closed because of repair work being done during the school year.
Nimra is one of the 120 students that attend the BMB Government Girls Primary School, which is located, along with three other schools, in a compound in the heart of Saddar. Only one of the schools is currently operational.
