A LARGE number of schoolteachers, staging a demonstration on Monday, protested the Punjab government for what they termed its indifferent attitude towards primary and elementary schoolteachers.
The demo was organised by the Primary and Elementary Teachers Association Punjab outside the Lahore Press Club in which dozens of schoolteachers participated and expressed resentment over government’s policies.
The protesting teachers demanded minimum BS-14 for Primary
