LANDI KOTAL, May 18: The only primary school for girls in Pasedkhel village of Landi Kotal is closed for the last one month due to the absence of teaching staff.
Zar Shah, a resident of the area, told Dawn that while one female teacher had gone on maternity leave some two months back and had deputed an unqualified lady in her place on half salary, the other teacher had not been attending to her duties without any reason.
