YDA gives five-day deadline to govt to clear salaries

LAHORE: The Young Doctors Association (YDA) has given a five-day deadline, following which it would hold a protest against the Punjab government for withholding the two-month salary of doctors working at the Institute of Blood Transfusion Services (IBTS) Punjab.
Talking to Daily Times, YDA Information Secretary Dr Salman Kazmi said that the Punjab Accountant General (AG) had stopped salaries of IBTS doctors managing blood banks across the province.
