Rawalpindi: People belonging to the salaried class in government sector have expressed mixed reaction over the 20% increase in their salaries. Some said ‘something is better than nothing’ while others demanded that the increase should not have been on ad hoc basis but it should have been made a part of basic salaries.
The salaried class of private sector expressed its utter dismay and said that the government even failed to implement its previous announcement of Rs7,000 minimum
