PESHAWAR: The 66th Independence Day was celebrated throughout the province and tribal areas with traditional zeal and fervour on Tuesday.
In the provincial metropolis, Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti hoisted the national flag at the Malik Saad Police Lines. Senior provincial minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour, provincial minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain, Chief Secretary Ghulam Dastagir, IGP Akbar Khan Hoti and other officials attended the ceremony.
