PESHAWAR, July 31: Shaheen Akhtar, a senior administrative officer who had computerised examination system of the University of Peshawar, assumed charge as controller of examinations on Tuesday.
According to a press release, Ms Akhtar has earlier worked as deputy provost and deputy controller of examinations. During April-August 2007, she was assigned duties as an acting controller of examinations and at that time she took initiatives which exposed lacunas in the examination system.
