PUNJAB Minister for Education Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman has said that education is the top priority of the provincial government, and the government has taken new initiative in the field of education. He said that special attention was being given to the provision of standardised education at school level. He said that Rs.one billion stipend was being distributed among the girl students belonging to remote and deprived areas to encourage the female education.
