US Agency of International Development (USAID) to build schools in flood-affected zones

The US Agency of International Development (USAID) has pledged to support the Sindh Basic Education Programme through which schools will be constructed in flood-affected areas of Khairpur, Dadu, Jacobabad, Kambar, Sukkur, Larkana, Kashmore and Karachi.

 

The programme will also aim to enhance literacy in schools, alleviate malnourishment in children and give technical assistance to the education department. The total funding available for the project is US$155
