WASA issues advisory for monsoon season
Rawalpindi: Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) has issued advisory and formulated a safety plan for citizens of Rawalpindi for monsoon. WASA Managing Director Raja Showkat Mehmood has requested the people not to throw garbage and plastic bags in sewerage lines and drainages. He also asked to stop use of plastic bags and report to WASA about any damaged or missing manholes as well as any stagnant water. He also requested the citizens to use boiled water
