PESHAWAR: The Amn Jirga has announced to stage hunger strike at the Abdul Wali Khan University in Mardan against the government failure to recover the kidnapped vice-chancellor of the Islamia College University, Ajmal Khan.
Through a statement, Amn Jirga Chairman Syed Kamal Shah criticised the provincial government for not making sincere efforts for the safe recovery of Ajmal Khan. He said though the government had accepted militants’ demand for release of the Afghan Ambassador
