The Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) deployed some 500 Litter Wardens volunteers on busy roads, markets and important signals in the city to disseminate awareness among general public and specially travelers on avoiding littering to keep the city clean as Litter Wardens Day was celebrated inLahoreon Saturday and Sunday 27-28 April 2013.
The objective was to warn people against the ill practice of littering while travelling in the cars or other vehicles. Some 500 students from Punjab
