It certainly was a pleasant change being at the solo exhibition of Abid Khan’s oil-on-canvas paintings. This show at the Ocean Art Gallery Saturday evening was so very different from the kind of art exhibitions that are the fad today with unreasonably high priced works, where abstractionism reigns supreme and instead of the theme or the subject being right there before you, you have to rack your brains to determine as to what the artist is trying to convey.
