Robbers and thieves deprived citizens of cash, valuables, gold ornaments, cell phones, cars and bikes worth millions of rupees in 37 hits in the provincial metropolis on Saturday.

Police failed to arrest any robber as they fled crime scenes unhindered despite extensive patrolling and police pickets.
