CUNY Leader’s Retirement Comes With Paid Sabbatical and Teaching Job
After his 12 months of study, he will have five months off at the same pay rate, for unused sick leave accumulated over his 14 years on the job. Then he will return to work for five years as chancellor emeritus, holding a formerly honorary title that will now come with a salary of $300,000. </P>CUNY’s trustees have unanimously approved the retirement package, hailing Dr. Goldstein as a “true visionary” and noting his success in expanding enrollment in the city’s public university
