First Pakistani woman to scale Mount Everest due in capital

Islamabad

 

The Alpine Club of Pakistan has planned a rousing reception for Ms Samina Baig who climbed Mt Everest (8,848 metres) and became the first Pakistani woman to hoist the national flag at the highest point on the earth when she arrives in Islamabad today (Monday) from Kathmandu, Nepal, via Karachi at 5:45 p.m. by PK-308.
