RAWALPINDI, Citizens under the control of the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) have been facing acute water shortage since the advent of summer, and board officials blame the incomplete Khanpur Dam Water Supply Project Phase-III for the shortage.
Most areas of the cantonment were to be supplied water under this Rs719.6 million project, which could not be completed due to shortage of funds.
“If there are no supply networks, how can we supply water?” an official at RCB
