LAHORE
The Lahore High Court on Tuesday barred Syndicate Member of Punjab University Dr Shaukat from performing his duties and issued notice to the varsity registrar for reply in two weeks.
The court issued the order on a petition moved by Munir Ahmad through Aftab Ahmad Bajwa. The counsel submitted that there were allegations of fraud against Dr Shaukat and the court had earlier restrained him form working as the Chairman of Physics Department.
