The <a href="http://pakedu.net/category/pakistani-education-news/" target="_blank">University of Peshawar’s department of mathematics</a> will be upgraded to the institute of pure and applied mathematics as per practice in best varsities of the world.
This was stated by Dean of Numerical and Physical Sciences Professor Gulzar while briefing the Vice-Chancellor Professor Mohammad Rasul Jan during the latter’s visit to the department on Wednesday.
